Hip Mom Says: I usually have a little coffee with my cream and sugar; sometimes it is a yummy way to smooth the transition into another day. As Moms, we have to give plenty of emotional "cream & sugar" to help our kids grow and get through those tough times in the day. There is nothing better than to share and talk with other Moms when you need support ....welcome to our little corner of sanity AKA Hip and Hippie Moms. Hip is not just about style or fashion; it is also about being aware of your community and getting involved in causes great and small. And yes, you can be hip, too! I am always making improvements and certainly try to follow Stacy & Clinton's rules from "What Not to Wear". Yes, the rules work and I feel good wearing hip clothes that are age appropriate. And I just ordered a pair of funky hip glasses. Whoo hoo! We have so many new things on the site. Am I really a hippie? I don't know... I do know that I am "crunchier" than some moms, but not even close to "crunchy" when compared to others. I do use cloth diapers, feed my family as healthy as I can (though that includes meat and macaroni and cheese sometimes - though always Annie's!), we also share a family bed and I will continue to breastfeed my son until he chooses to wean. If that makes me a "hippie" then I proudly take the label.
